To bring the brand forward I was looking to design a business card for Flux Pavilion. Here are some examples of exsisting business cards.

aquant packaging/advert.
For the new brief we are asked to bring forward the Aquant brand which I have already designed a logo for and design both packaging and an advert. I'm looking to carry on the style of my logo and reflect that on the packaging and advert. I chose to go down the more popular, affordable route with Aquant so I will have to take this into consideration when designing the new elements. I have looked at a number of different examples of packaging not only on water bottles but on a range of drinks sold in bottles. My inital idea is to create something basic in realtion to both the packaging and advert becuase I feel my logo will work better more so on its own without a number of elements distorting attention from it to much.

freelance workshop with peter.
As part of our professional practice we were given a workshop on going freelance in the industry and all the things we would have to take into consideration when dealing with clients. Here are some of the notes I took.
- In relation to the brief you need to understand all that the client is requesting for you to have any chance of producing a successful outcome.
- If anything is unclear or you feel the brief doesn't cover it, don't hesitate to ask for more information and make sure during your meeting with the client that you make accurate notes.
- Always base the sum of money you wish to charge them for the brief so far, because it is common for the client to add other elements to the project without any intention of paying for them.
- It helps to break down costs so both you and the client are familiar with how much for each stage you are either getting paid for or in relation to the client paying for. Plus it shows that you are professional, organization can go along way when it comes to getting/keeping clients.
- Consider a deposit with new clients before you start designing to aviod anyone ripping you off.

bringing the brand forward.
As I have chose to continue with the branding project not only will I have to improve already established elements of the brand but I will have to add new ones to bring the brand forward and continue it's development. I'm considering planning a tour for Flux Pavilion and designing posters/flyers to promote it. I'm also looking to design business cards for bookings of the DJ.
presentation of brand (flux pavilion)
After presenting the work I had done on my brand to my tutors Paul and Pete I received some feedback on how I could improve existing work and move the brand forward. Overall they seemed happy with what I had done so far but recommended if I was going to chose to continue with the branding project that I took a second look at the logo I had created for Flux Pavilion and obviously added more elements to the brand.
